MBIE Volunteer Opportunities
MBIE is looking for a few good hands
(and hearts)!

"You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and to impoverish yourself if you forget the errand." - Woodrow Wilson

Everyone Can Help Make A Difference!
We encourage you to explore our list of possible volunteer opportunities in order to find the place that really connects you with your interest and abilities. Whether it's assisting in neighborhood clean-up days, helping out with light maintenance on one of our busses or housing units, or planning a program for our seniors. MBIE would love to talk to you!

We have a variety of opportunities available depending upon your time commitment (or lack thereof). If you are interested in one-time opportunities, short-term or long-term, we will find the right fit for you! Look below to see if any of our activities may be of interest to you or come to us with your ideas!

  • Neighborhood Clean Up
  • Lawn Care/Landscaping
  • General office work
  • Neighborhood canvassing
  • Minor automobile repair and/or maintenance
  • Minor carpentry on our housing units (hanging drywall, painting, etc.)
  • Thrift store volunteer
  • Creating workshops for our residents and/or seniors
  • Your idea?

If you are interested in volunteering with MBIE, please contact our office or email us at volunteers@mbie.org.
